About

Consider the Lilies, a Winnipeg-based care service company, emerged from a deeply personal journey. Founder, Madeline Jantz, underwent a six-year health crisis marked by chronic pain, dystonia and immobility, during which accessing the right support within the healthcare system proved to be a significant challenge. Madeline created the idea for Consider the Lilies while laying in bed staring at the ceiling, driven by the mission to extend compassionate care and support to others facing similar struggles.

At Consider the Lilies, we aim to honour the autonomy and unique circumstance of each individual we serve, striving not only to assist them in navigating their challenges but also to empower them to flourish. We are committed to addressing systemic barriers to the best of our abilities, and upholding the inherent dignity of every person.

Whether you seek emotional solace, assistance within the healthcare maze, or simply a companion to share your journey, we are here to try our best to support in the ways that you need, and can tailor our services as needed.

Cold & Flu Policy

As care providers, we want to emphasize our commitment to striving for a safe and healthy environment. To this end, we have implemented the following protocol to minimize the risk of illness transmission:

Mask Usage: Masks are not mandatory, but please wear them if you are experiencing symptoms of cold and flu that are not usual for you. Clients may request the use of masks at any point and our staff members will have KN95 masks available.

Flexible Scheduling: If you or someone you have close contact with is feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of illness, please inform us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. We will do the same. Last minute cancellation is okay.

If you have any questions or concerns about our cold and flu protocol, or want to discuss extra protection, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Warm regards,

Consider the Lilies Care Services
